Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education

All pupils at Sawston Village College follow a programme of Personal, Social, Health and Economic education, including Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance; delivered through assemblies, structured mentor time and four collapsed conference days each year. The PSHE curriculum at Sawston is led by our PSHE Coordinator and is delivered by teachers, many of whom have been involved in the collaborative planning of the content. We are proud of the developmental work we have carried out in recent years to our PSHE and RSE provision, ensuring that the needs of pupils in modern Britain are met. We aim to develop informed, well-rounded citizens at Sawston Village College and believe that our PSHE provision is a primary vehicle for this.
