House Mates

Support from Year 8 pupils

The House Mate team is comprised of 24 Year 8 pupils, 6 from each House.  House Mates are appointed following a very thorough application process, and the main focus of their work is to support the new Year 7 pupils in their transition to the College. This involves helping out at events such as the Year 6 induction days and Open Evening. House Mates guide new Year 7 pupils around the College, particularly at break and lunchtimes, providing help and advice where needed.  The team also meets regularly with senior staff to share ideas around transition and Year 7 support.
