Both Year 7 and Year 8 Netball teams played fixtures against Bottisham Village College on 11 December 2024.

Year 7 Netball

What an amazing debut for our Year 7 Netball team who absolutely smashed their first ever match for Sawston Village College, winning 17 – 3 against Bottisham Village College. The girls were on fire. Any ball that Bottisham had was intercepted by one of our players. The teamwork, determination and sheer excitement of playing excellent netball, made for a really fast paced and high goal scoring match. Well done all!

Year 8 Netball

Our Year 8s had their very first match as a newly formed team and worked well to break down Bottisham’s very fast centre court players. The team kept their spirits high, despite a loss and, in the final quarter, they found their stride and managed to pull back four goals, which showcased some incredible skills and their knowledge of where their teammates were going to be. A huge shout out to POM Miglia Morrison, who appeared everywhere on the court and consistently made fantastic interceptions – well done!
