Year 9 Netball

District Netball Tournament (22/10/2025)

Our Year 9 teams took to the courts at Comberton for the District Netball Tournament on 22 October, and what an afternoon it was! Both squads arrived with positivity, maturity, and determination, ready to give it their all.

Our B team may not have come away with the wins, but their hard work, resilience, and drive to improve stood out throughout the day. Every goal was earned through sheer effort, a brilliant display of perseverance and teamwork.

Our A team were just a few goal difference points away from reaching the semi-finals, an incredible achievement considering the tough pool they faced, including strong sides like St Mary’s (who they beat!) and Comberton. Their teamwork, communication, and on-court support for one another were a joy to watch.

A huge well done to both teams. You represented Sawston superbly and made Mrs Dennis very proud!
