Year 9 District Netball Tournament

A really lovely afternoon was had by all at the Year 9 District Netball Tournament on Wednesday, at St Mary’s Sports Ground. The newly formed team (first time actually playing as a team!) showed fantastic resilience, empathy and teamwork as they fought hard in every match they played. The POM of the tournament goes to Amaya Cassidy-Ferrero who showed a true understanding of the skills and decision making of the game, which allowed her team to progress with the ball. A special shout out goes to Emma Russell who showed pure determination to get the ball and always seemed to be in all the right places!
