St Bede’s 1 v 7 Sawston

The girls played their second of game of the season against St Bede’s, this time away. They dominated the half with a new formation, pressing high up the pitch and giving the opposition no time on the ball. However, we did not take our early chances and St Bede’s scored a goal totally against the run of play. The girls kept their head up and continued playing attacking football, with Coco scoring a goal just before half time to make it 1-1. In the second half, we completely controlled the game and began to take our numerous opportunities. The girls scored 6 goals, resulting in a 7-1 thrashing of St Bede’s. Goal scorers in the second half included Alba with 1, Annie with 2, Libby with 2 and Bryony with 3 who was lady of the match! An incredible performance in tricky conditions. Well done ladies!
