Year 8 Girls Basketball v St Bede’s: SECOND PLACE

The Year 8 girls played their second basketball tournament of the season against St Bede’s. Our girls put in a far improved display from last week against Chesterton. Sawston A-Team came second, narrowly losing in the final to a strong St Bede’s A-Team. Sawston C-Team came fourth and Sawston B team won their fifth-place play-off to come fifth overall. All games were very even and could have gone either way. All the girls should be very proud of their efforts in a sport that is very new to them. Well done ladies!
