St Bede’s 0 v 8 Sawston

The Year 10 boys played a thrilling but chilly match against St Bede’s School on Wednesday this week. The boys had a great start, applying pressure from minute one, which resulted in an early goal from Toby Weston, the start of many to come. The boys continued to dominate and by half time they saw themselves 5-0 up. By the second half the boys were still hungry for more, kept their class and by full-time the boys had won themselves an 8-0 victory overall. A class performance from the goalkeeper Max Mckenzie and another great defensive performance from Thomas Moody-Tipping. Oliver Chatwin ran the midfield with a total of five assists. The goals for this fixture came from Toby Weston (3), Barney Jones (2), Tom Unwin (2) and Luca Chadwick (1).

All boys played fantastically well and we look forward to their continuing their excellent performances against other schools across Cambridge. Their next fixture will be at Bottisham in two weeks’ time and we hope they continue their winning streak. Well done all!
