Reduce | Reuse | Recycle

If you are having a tidy up, or undergoing renovations, you may find you no longer have use for something that we would welcome here in school. Please get in touch with the school if you have anything you think we could potentially use, reuse or recycle. We want to reduce what goes to landfill.

Some suggested items we could use include:

General

  • Poly pockets
  • Scrap lined paper A4
  • Coloured paper
  • Coloured pencils (including used)
  • HB pencils (including used)

for the DT Department

  • Non-manufactured wood
  • Screws
  • Metal sheets
  • Plastic containers – margarine containers, yogurt tubs, large chocolate tubs (e.g. Quality Street boxes)
  • Kitchen items – cookie cutters, small tart tins, serving plates
  • Edible flowers, herbs

for the Science Department

  • Loom bands
  • Elastic bands
  • Scientific equipment e.g. petri dishes, reagent bottles
  • working kettles
  • Cork tiles
  • Pringles tubes

for the PE Department

  • Trainers
  • Football boots
  • Items of PE kit:
    – Black shorts / tracksuit bottoms / sports leggings / skirt
    – Maroon PE polo top
