Regional Cross-Country Results
Congratulations to the four Sawston pupils who attended the next stage of the Inter Schools School Cross-Country Competition in St Ives recently. All pupils qualified for this event due to their fantastic results at Netherhall before the Christmas break, with all continuing to demonstrate great results across the board. Natalia Smith (Year 7) and Oliver Seabourn (Year 8) gave great performances, achieving impressive results across this new course, a great experience for them both.
Both Torin Jones (Year 7) and Matthew Smith (Year 11) went on to show true grit and determination, gaining themselves entry into the regional competition. Torin came 7th and Mathew came 11th for their age-group races, which puts them in great stead for the next round in the first week of February. We all look forward to hearing their results and wish them both the best of luck!
