Holocaust Memorial Day
We marked Holocaust Memorial Day in mentor time this morning (27 January 2023) with a presentation featuring a filmed introduction to this year’s theme: ‘Ordinary People’ given by Professor Tom Lawson, former pupil, historian of the Holocaust and Deputy Vice Chancellor of Northumbria University.
Forms were then invited to reflect on what they had learnt and to write these reflections on labels to be attached to a dedicated Holocaust Memorial display in school.
