At the end of January Science pupils had a wonderful time at the Cambridge Corn Exchange at the GCSE Science Live! event, with over 1,000 other GCSE students.  They heard talks on varied subjects such as ‘Obesity: is it a choice?’, how our brains work, archaeology, time travel and how the zebra/beetroot got its stripes. They also heard from an AQA GCSE lead examiner on top tips for success in Science exams. They were also delighted to hear from and be inspired by top experts in their field, including: Professor Alice Roberts, Professor Jim Al-Khalili and Dr Hannah Critchlow.
