Engage with China (EwC) Scholarship

Lily Liu-Child, who has just completed Year 11, is off to China shortly. She writes:

‘I have been awarded the Engage with China (EwC) Scholarship to study A-levels for two years at AISL Harrow Haikou, a modern international sixth form on China’s tropical island of Hainan. The scholarship, founded in 2023, offers British students aged 16 a life-changing opportunity to live and study in China, with all sixth form subjects taught in English by native and bilingual staff under British leadership. I will be fully immersed in Chinese culture and language while following a British curriculum, with access to world-class facilities, Mandarin lessons, and enrichment activities beyond the classroom. This programme promotes global understanding, leadership, and personal growth, and I hope to share my experiences through writing and photography to inspire others back home.’
