Year 10s show great resilience
128 pupils from Year 10 descended on Bedfordshire last weekend to learn how to erect tents, cook on camp stoves and navigate using compasses, maps and triangulation. Pupils woke up to a glorious sunrise on Sunday morning before the weather shifted. Pupils tested their resilience as they marched 16km through muddy tracks and rain, carrying all their equipment in big backpacks. All pupils now have the necessary skills to complete their qualifying expedition in Thetford Forest in two weeks’ time. We wish them all the best of luck with this endeavour.
