Arts Award Success

221 pupils achieve Bronze & 10 achieve Silver

Every year pupils in Year 7 complete the Bronze Arts Award over the course of the year through a mixture of class and homework tasks, and so we were delighted to learn that 221 of our now-Year 8 pupils had achieved the award, while ten pupils now in Year 9 achieved the Silver Arts Award, a level 2 qualification (the same standard as a GCSE grade 4-9).

Two pupils who completed Silver taught a dance class at Stapleford Community Primary School as part of their leadership project, preparing the Year 3 and 4 pupils for a performance at the Anglian Learning Dance Festival, where they too performed.

Certificates for Arts Award are awarded by Trinity College London and issued digitally to a pupil’s parent’s email address.
