School Closure: 19 September 2022
Following the announcement from Buckingham Palace of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a period of National Mourning has started and will continue until the end of the State Funeral. This is a period of time for reflection in response to the death of the Sovereign.
The official date of the State Funeral is Monday, 19 September 2022, which has been declared a bank holiday. As a mark of respect, Sawston Village College will be closed on Monday, 19 September 2022. Normal school will resume on Tuesday, 20 September.
