Years 8-10 Girls Basketball

On Thursday, 3 February the girls played a basketball tournament at Chesterton Community College. This was the first ever game of basketball that the girls have played and I could not have been more impressed with their attitude, application, teamwork and ‘never give-up’ spirit. As the tournament went on, their ability to transition from attack to defence improved considerably, enabling more baskets to be scored. The stand out performer of the day was Tyrihanna who scored a host of points for the Yr 8 team. The girls finished second overall and left the tournament feeling proud of their achievements.  Well done!
