Year 10 Art Exhibition

Pupils exhibit sculptures at Strawberry Fields

Well done to the GCSE Year 10 art pupils who recently worked with artist Michael Condron to make sculptures from paper and card. Michael is the artist who was awarded the commission to make an artwork for the Strawberry Fields retirement village in Stapleford. As part of his work on this project, he went into Stapleford Community Primary School and Sawston Village College to work with pupils. The Year 10 art pupils at Sawston embraced the project enthusiastically and produced some outstanding work, which was recently exhibited at the Club House in Strawberry Fields for the residents to admire. We hear everyone was full of praise for the excellent work on display.
