STRETCHING FOR MOBILITY – WEDNESDAY (Autumn Term)
STRETCHING FOR MOBILITY - WEDNESDAY 18:00-19:00
COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
This gentle course, which may be more accessible to some than Yoga, is designed to create a space to stretch, relax, and take time for yourself each week. It offers a calm and welcoming space to slow down, stretch and reconnect with your body and mind through simple, effective practices that support both physical and mental wellbeing. It focuses mainly on improving flexibility, releasing muscle tension, and helping with relaxation. There’s no need to learn sequences or specific techniques. Through regular weekly sessions, you will gradually improve flexibility, posture, and release tension held in the body. The course also places strong emphasis on relaxation, helping to calm, reduce stress, and create a sense of balance. Alongside the physical benefits, the sessions support mental clarity by giving you time to slow down, reset, and focus on the present moment. You will learn to listen to your body and move in a way that feels safe and comfortable, building confidence and awareness over time. The course encourages self-care and provides a supportive space where you can unwind and recharge. By the end, you will have simple, effective techniques that can be easily integrated into your daily routine to support long-term wellbeing.

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR: KATERYNA ZAVIZION
I have been practising stretching since 2017, beginning my journey after the birth of my daughter as a way to restore my health and overall wellbeing. Over time, it has become an important part of my life, supporting both physical health and emotional balance. Over time, I became more curious about the practice and decided to build my knowledge further, completing online training to become a coach, which enables me to guide sessions in a safe, supportive, and accessible way. My approach focuses on gentle movement, relaxation, and creating a calm environment where everyone can feel comfortable, unwind, and reconnect with themselves.
