IMPROVISED THEATRE FOR ADULTS: LAUGH, FEEL, CREATE - WEDNESDAY 17:30-19:00
COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
A welcoming improvised theatre course for adults of all ages—no experience required. Participants will take part in guided improvisation tasks that build focus, confidence, and spontaneity. The sessions explore both playful and emotional moments in a supportive mixed group. Course Aims • Develop basic improv theatre skills. • Encourage creativity, spontaneity, and collaboration. • Build confidence in expressing ideas and emotions. • Create a safe space for humour, reflection, and shared storytelling.
SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
No experience.
MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR FIRST CLASS:
Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement. Participants may be barefoot or wear socks; flat shoes are also fine.
ABOUT YOUR TUTOR: UTE LEPETIT-CLARE
With over 25 years of stage experience, Ute brings a wealth of expertise in theatre, music, and performance to this adult improvisation course. She spent 15 years performing as an opera soloist in Germany, taking on more than 40 roles, and has since worked in the UK as a freelance singer, director, and educator. Passionate about teaching, she leads workshops and singing sessions for learners aged 4 to 99, fostering creativity, confidence, and self-expression. Her approach combines professional performance experience with an inclusive, learner-centred style, making theatre accessible and enjoyable for adults of all backgrounds.
