YOGA (SUMMER SOLSTICE) - SATURDAY 10.00-13.00

COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
As we approach the summer solstice, take this time to immerse yourself
in 3 hours of deepened yoga practice in the form of Yoga Asana
(postures), Pranayama (yoga breathing) and meditation.
The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year and the start of
astronomic summer. The changing of seasons are a time of
transformation, change, nature and new beginnings. So this time of year
is an opportunity to take stock, set our intentions and review those we
might have made at New Year. We can use our yoga practice to support
this process by including practices that create heat in the body and build
our inner strength.
Together, we will practice yoga asana and then the sun salutation
sequences that can be adapted for all abilities.
