COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
This a Tap dancing class and its aims is to teach tap dancing steps to
music in a relaxed and enjoyable lesson . This type of dance also
promotes increased fitness levels including increased bone density.
SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
None required
MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR FIRST CLASS:
A pair of Tap shoes is not necessary , but a well fitted , low heeled pair
of shoes is advised.
ADDITIONAL COURSE COSTS (IF APPLICABLE):
Tap shoes cost between £20 – £60
FURTHER INFORMATION:
Some physical health issues may prevent you advancing in the course,
such as knee or hip problems.
ABOUT YOUR TUTOR: MARLENE SHARPE-WESTWOOD
I have taught Tap dancing to Adults for over 40 years .Since the age of
3 years I have been dancing and after many years of Dance exams I
qualified to teach. I ran my own Dance school for 5 years teaching
other dance types like ballet , mime and modern musical dance.
My passion is Dance , but mainly Tap dancing.
I am also a GP Referral Instructor and work around Cambridge and
surrounding areas.
