Pilates Mixed Ability
COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
Pilates has many health and fitness benefits such as improved flexibility,
increased muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal
muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body)
balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body. enhanced
muscular control of your back and limbs. This mixed ability class will be
suitable for all levels as Pilates can be modified for all participants
regardless of previous experience or level of fitness.
ABOUT YOUR TUTOR:
Gillian Goodchild-Colley is a motivated Pilates teacher for all ages; she enjoys inspiring others to
improve wellness and commit to long term health and fitness goals. She
likes to make classes fun and accessible for all abilities. She has been
teaching children and adults for many years and has previously taught
Dance and PE in schools and colleges as well as Yoga and Pilates.
