Pilates (Mixed Ability) - Wednesday 19.00-20.00

COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
Pilates has many health and fitness benefits such as improved flexibility,
increased muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal
muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body)
balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body. enhanced
muscular control of your back and limbs. This mixed ability class will be
suitable for all levels as Pilates can be modified for all participants
regardless of previous experience or level of fitness.

SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
None

MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR FIRST CLASS:
A Yoga mat and a strap ( could be a dressing gown cord?)

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR:  GILLIAN GOODCHILD-COLLEY
Motivated Pilates teacher for all ages; I enjoy inspiring others to
improve wellness and commit to long term health and fitness goals. I
like to make my classes fun and accessible for all abilities. I have been
teaching children and adults for many years, I have previously taught
Dance and PE in schools and colleges as well as Yoga and Pilates. I
currently teach Stretch and Tone, Barre, Yoga and Pilates in Haverhill;
plus Yoga and Pilates in Cambridge.
