This Pilates course is for people who have a basic knowledge of Pilates
breathing and exercises and wish to take their practice to the next level.
More challenging stretches and strength exercises plus how to use
Pilates methods to improve posture, align the body, gain strength and
avoid injury.
As a mature student Gillian began her career dance teaching. studying
all forms of dance including ballroom and Yoga She graduated from
Bedford College now Leicester University with a Bachelors in Dance
and Education. It was around this time that she began her own
personal journey into the world of Yoga and Pilates. She was drawn to
Pilates because of its cross training capabilities and emphasis on
balance in the body.
