COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
Breads are specialised in the Northern part of India. There are a huge
variety of stuffed breads which can satisfy anybody’s dietary
requirements. In this day course we will be preparing a set menu of
stuffed breads with curried mince, cauliflower, potato and rita (a yoghurt
based dish).
SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
A good interest to extend your culinary knowledge through enriching
your dishes with authentic spices and herbs.
MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR FIRST CLASS:
Once enrolled, a list or ingredients and equipment will be sent out as
well as any other additional information needed for the day course.
ADDITIONAL COURSE COSTS (IF APPLICABLE):
The ingredients cost will be roughly £15 – £18.
ABOUT YOUR TUTOR: RAMA S RAM
I am Rama, originally from Southern India. I have lived in Great Britain
for 50 years and during this time I have enjoyed spreading my culinary
knowledge. I have also been tutoring for the last 30 years in various
colleges, including Denman College in Oxford. Finally I regularly do
cookery demonstrations and presentations to the WI.
