Grow Your Own: Summer Vegetable Gardening - SATURDAY 10.00-16.00

COURSE DETAILS AND AIMS:
On our summer term Grow Your Own workshop we will look at keeping our vegetable plots and allotments healthy and productive through the busy summer season. Weeding, feeding and watering, pest and disease management, harvesting and sowing – we’ll look at all the jobs that are keeping us busy over the summer and how to get the most out of our plots.

SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience looking to
develop their knowledge and understanding.

MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR FIRST CLASS:
A notebook and pen/pencil will be useful for taking notes.

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR:  ROSS LILLEY
Ross Lilley is a registered plant health professional and official seed
inspector with over 10 years’ experience working in the agriculture and
horticulture industry. In his spare time, Ross has managed an organic
vegetable garden and allotment for over 15 years, where he can
usually be found with his young family.
